A Minister for Your Wedding

If you are looking for a friendly nondenominational minister to perform your wedding, Revs. Chris or Karen Mohr, Rev. Joseph Woodson, Rev. Jim Conder and other ordained ministers are all available to perform weddings for you. They have performed hundreds of weddings for people of all faiths. We'll sit down for a free one-on-one visit and use our many years of experience to help create the wedding ceremony of your dreams. You may also want to make changes, additions, or even design your own ceremony. These warm, caring ministers will be happy to discuss your plans with you prior to your wedding. In addition, they are happy to answer any questions you may have.
As ministers we have all done volunteer work at hospitals, hospices, drug crisis centers and/or prisons. We have performed baptisms and funerals as well as weddings. These experiences have helped make us compassionate, caring, and grateful for the opportunity to share in such a joyous event as your wedding!

Marriage Licenses
Check the County Government listings in the phone book under "Marriage Licenses.'' You may get your license at any county office in Colorado for a wedding anywhere in the state. You must get married within 30 days of obtaining the license or it expires. Call the county office nearest you for more details. Please bring your marriage license to the wedding. Your officiant will fill out the bottom part of the license and send it in for you to be recorded with the county. The county will then return the license to you. In the meantime, you may use a marriage certificate provided by your officiant to show proof of marriage. In order to change your name on your driver's license and other documents, you will need the actual marriage license.
